Kernewek, Cornwall's native language, has an estimated 400-500 advanced speakers. More than 4,000 pupils in over 20 schools across Cornwall are being taught Kernewek. Between 2,000 and 5,000 people are able to speak some basic Cornish, with more people learning all the time. Why not join us!

Your Cornish Heritage
Your Cornish heritage is living, breathing, and all around you. This year the Cornish Heritage EXPO was held at beautiful Pendennis Castle with the theme "Conservation in Action". A range of heritage practitioners, from basket-makers to architects, shared their experience of careers in heritage and the historic environment.

Cornwall's Treasure House
The Kresen Kernow ("Cornwall Centre") archive houses the world’s largest collection of material related to Cornwall’s history. It has 14 miles of shelving storing more than 1.5 million archive photos, books, maps and other documents. It is open to everyone to research and explore, with workshops, performances and courses.

Cornish culture
Cornish creators are making hilarious new comedy, telling spellbinding stories and exploring local issues. There are podcasts, dramas and documentaries in Cornish, with Cornish subtitles or about Cornish issues - all free of charge. Find your next must-watch show At Home with Cornwall 365.

Fostering innovation, driving investment. The Cornwall Angel Network connects founders and investors, aiming to grow Cornwall's economy. Public funding means investors are not charged membership fees (instead pledging to make at least one investment in the first year), and founders do not pay success fees.

Our mining heritage
Experience the breathtaking sights of Cornwall's mining landscape UNESCO World Heritage Site with virtual tours from Cornish Mining. World Heritage Sites are designated as having Outstanding Universal Value to humanity, and must be safeguarded for the benefit of future generations. The Cornwall and West Devon mining landscape was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2006.
